Olivier MARTIN

Previously Professor of Physics, Université Paris-Sud à Orsay and Junior member of L'Institut Universitaire de France.
I was also Research Vice-President of the Physics Department of the University of Paris-Sud at Orsay.

My research focuses on biological networks, meiosis and recombination, algorithmic methods and systems biology.

I encourage efforts to advance cross-disciplinary work. See for instance Axe Interface Physique Biologie du Triangle de la Physique and the corresponding axis of the Labex PALM.

The second international conference Physics and Biological Systems took place at Gif-sur-Yvette, June 24-27'th 2014, a follow-up of the corresponding 2011 conference at Orsay.
