Olivier MARTIN

Directeur de Recherche at INRAE, previously at Génétique Quantitative et Evolution - Le Moulon, now IPS2 (Institute for Plant Sciences Paris Saclay), Gif-sur-Yvette

Previously Professor of Physics, Université Paris-Saclay at Orsay and Junior member of L'Institut Universitaire de France.
I was also Research Vice-President of the Physics Department of the University of Paris-Saclay at Orsay.

My research focuses on biological networks, gene regulation, meiosis and recombination, algorithmic methods and systems biology.

I encourage efforts to advance cross-disciplinary work. I helped set up the Axe Interface Physique Biologie of the RTRA Triangle de la Physique and the corresponding axis of the Labex PALM.

A series of international conferences in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2021, entitled Physics and Biological Systems, that are follow-ups of the corresponding 2011 conference at Orsay that I organized.
